Q: Where do we begin?
It starts with a phone call or filling out our form. An auto accident, no matter how minor, can leave you a bit shaken and uncertain. From that moment on, we promise friendly, personal attention and consistent, open communication with you throughout the restoration process of your vehicle.
Q: How long will the repairs to my car take?
When you make an appointment to have your car repaired we will give you a target date for completion. However, parts availability, hidden damage, and insurance approvals are some of the factors that can add time to the estimated length of your repair. We will maintain communications with you while your car is being repaired in order to advise you of any delays. But be assured that Key Collision will never cut corners or sacrifice the quality of repairs to your vehicle.
Q: Do I have a choice where I want my car repaired?
Yes. Under the State of Minnesota laws regulating insurance companies and auto body repair, you may select any body shop to repair your vehicle. There is no requirement that repairs be made at any specific facility. We do accept Drive-in Claim Center estimates. If you have questions concerning your rights regarding insurance, please call us. We’ll be happy to assist you or refer you to officials at the State of Minnesota for answers.

We have state-of-the-art equipment that’s highly calibrated to meet today’s exact tolerances. These modern, computerized tools allow us to do complete body repair, including full frame and unibody straightening. We are fortunate to have attracted some of the best body repair people in the business to Key Collision & Paint Center. Our professional staff never stops learning their craft. Q: Can I get other service work done on my car while it's in the body shop?
Yes. Key Collision can provide most maintenance and mechanical repair services such as lube, oil & filter changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, transmission services and A/C repairs just to name a few. Ask your Key Collision representative for details.
Q: What if we need a vehicle while our car is being repaired?
Key provides FREE loaners on all repairs however some restrictions do apply, call or contact us online for details.
Q: Can I get a ride home when I drop off my car?
Key Collision offers free courtesy rides to the airport and local areas. Please let us know in advance if you need a ride home.
Q: Will you honor an estimate I have?
Key Collision honors all insurance company estimates and most other body shop estimates. Key Collision will work with your insurance company to repair your vehicle to its pre-accident condition.
Q: Who handles the Insurance paperwork?
Key Collision does. We believe it is our responsibility, as a part of the repair function, to communicate with your insurance company. We handle all insurance claims for you from start to finish and honor all insurance company estimates. The detailed paper work is something we do everyday with hundreds of insurance agents, claims adjusters and companies. It is one less thing for you to be concerned about.
Q: Do I have to pay a deductible?
Most times, if you are making a claim on your own insurance policy, you will be responsible for paying your deductible to us at the time you pick up your car. However, at times there are unique circumstances when your deductible will be waived by the insurance company. We can help you through this sometimes confusing process.

Key Collision accepts personal checks, cash, Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover cards.
